These made-to-measure, customisable and sustainable jeans are the investment you should make now to enjoy forever.
This new jeans customisation service will help you find that perfect pair of jeans you'll never want to take off.
Jeans are probably the most overused garment in our wardrobe. The friend - in terms of style - is always there when you need it most. Since they were invented by Levi Strauss in the second half of the 19th century for a purpose that has very little to do with the present, people all over the world have adopted them as a uniform to wear day after day, always adapting to the latest trends.
This is where Hockerty, the men's fashion company specialising in online customisation services, comes into the equation. The brand based in Zurich, Barcelona, Toledo and Shanghai has just launched the first digital service for customisable jeans. Indeed, your tireless search has come to an end.
A how-to guide to customising jeans you'll never want to take them off
1_Go to the official Hockerty website, click on the 'Clothing' section, then on 'Trousers' and select the 'Tailored Jeans' option.
2_First of all, choose your favourite fit: straight fit, the one you've always worn; slim, the one that suits everyone; skinny, the favourite of rock stars; or bootcut, slightly flared.
3_ Now you have to choose the length: regular or ankle length. If skinny trousers are your thing, we recommend the latter to avoid unnecessary bags and creases. Next, decide if you want your jeans to be hemmed or not.
4_ Now it's time to focus on the details: do you prefer zip or button fastening? straight or classic front pockets? square, rounded or shield-shaped back pockets?
5_ Once the design is finished, you will have to deal with the wash and the fabric. With three different finishes, from regular to vintage, you can choose from 11 different materials depending on their composition.
6_ Finally, add extras to make your jeans inimitable, from the colour of the buttons, rivets and stitching to the presence of front or back embroidery.

About Hockerty
Hockerty was created by three young entrepreneurs in their early 20s as they realized it was difficult to find affordable tailor-made clothing. Like most other startups, they started from their own bedroom with money they could get from friends and family. As the company grew, more young and passionate professionals joined the team and helped us grow the company following our vision: “the desire to spread comfortable, elegant, and perfectly fitted clothing throughout the world“.Ten years later, this dream has come true. More than 350,000 customers have already placed their trust in us and we continue to serve you with ever greater rigour and intransigence on the quality of the clothing we manufacture. Our team of more than 60 people based in Zürich (Switzerland) with offices in Barcelona and Shanghai work hard to bring new custom-made products to you.
